I got teh ones on teh driver side out with just a little bruise on my forearm, but I cant even get my socket in the area where the passenger side ones are. Im guessing the easiest way is to take off the intake tubing?

Took it off and I cant get to the back one on the pass side. there is a metal hose in teh way that dosent move. im pretty sure it for teh smog pump. I thhink the next thing im gonna do it take that muther ****er out.
The last one was the hardest on. I could have gotten it out SO mush easier if I would have had another extension. Anyway, it took me about an hour to get the 4 on the pass side off. But this was my first time taking them off this car.

That doesn't sound like something for the smog pump. That sounds like the EGR to header pipe. I wouldn't remove that FOR GOOD unless you study the effects thereof first.
EDIT: whoops .... looks like you're all finished.
BTW, removing all the smog stuff made it so much easier for me to access the plugs. If you don't need it in your area .... I recommend tossing it.
