whats the easiest way to geta crank pulley off

I usually put the socket on the bolt and then jam a flatblade screwdriver or a small prybar between the socket and the pulley in one of the two notches cut into the pulley. that way you can pull on the prybar in one direction and your ratchet in the other. Works like a charm. You can use a similar technique on engines with a crank damper like a 5.0L by taking the pulley off and then screwing the pulley bolts most of the way back in and using the prybar between two bolts to keep the engine from turning.
