Whats ur stangs MPG?

I've been getting consistantly 14.6-15.8 for like 2 years since i mostly only drive around town and then i used seafoam in my Plenum, oil, and gas and what resulted was about 16-16.5 maybe but this past weekend i went up to Lake Tahoe and back and averaged 22.5! over 450miles or so; no joke

I hear ya, there was a few times where i averaged in the high 12's due to my heavy foot after installing my exhaust and intake n such

I don't get it I get 20mpg average and I crack on my car at least once ever time I put the key in. Heck I get that with a night at the track and trying to spray the crank outta it.
On road trips average speed about 80 or so I knock down 24mpg.

My normal driving routine is a little less then 3/4 highway and more then 1/4 city and my city usually I am seeing redline often I average anywhere from 23-26 mpg. Since I have baught my car in April and I have never gotten under 22 mpg :o)

I work in lake tahoe so im always driving from the valley where I live to work and i still dont get any less than 22mpg. For grins on my last road trip I didnt get on it once, infact I shifted below 2k every time and got 28 mpg. But with usual driving I average about 24-25 mpg and thats with quiet a few WOT to get onto highways and such. After seeing what seafoam did to your milage I m definitly going to run some of that through mine.

wow.. some of yalls MPGare really crappy. With Heads and Cams.. 4.10's and a really heavy foot I average 20 highway and 15-16 city. If i were to stay out of it I could see 22-23

im sure that w/ a gear i would be over 20 in the city

We average around 19 city and 25 highway with the air on. Now if we drive it like we stole it we only get about 13 mpg...go figure.

Our tanks are what 15 gallon???? I have driven to the little red line on "E" and filled up with never more than 13 gallons. So for the average of 200 miles i get out of one full tank, i would say thats pretty chitty.

gears arent gonna help your MPG. if any it will be so slight you wont notice.

gears will hurt your mpg, thats why im second guessing the FRPP 4.10's i have in my trunk since ill be moving to So. Cal when i transfer colleges and might drive up here during summers n such

Seems like the 5 speeds are the people getting the high 20's mpg.
My 04 automatic and my former 99 automatic both hit about 18/19
city and 22/23 highway. Anyone with automatic trans getting better?

Maybe i drive with a heavy foot then since you guys all get considerably better mpg, then again my car's 10 years old and my bolt ons arnt too gas friendly

It seems that my mileage dropped a bit when ethanol was put in the gas

I get 22mpg highway, 18mpg city.
I use the A/C most of the time, mostly hilly roads. I drive activly passive(i.e. not a lead foot)
