Ok.... Just pick up some stock rear 03/04 Cobra rims for my 95 mustang. Problem is when I went to put them on the centering ring on the axle seems to stick out to far not letting the wheel fit on. Has anyone ran into this problem??

I have a similar problem on my left front hub, there's some rust build-up that makes the wheel a tight fit. If you have rust on that ring you may have to sand it down a little. Did you try a different wheel? One may be a looser fit.

Tried that... Its the center part of the axle thats hits. The inner part of the rim is cylinder shaped.

Cylinder shaped? Do you mean oval shaped vs being round? I'm wondering if the wheel has been banged hard enough to have been elongated.

you can try a small spacer on there. it's a bandaid for the problem but should let you bolt it up.

Put a spacer on for now. No vibration at 80mph. Think it should be good for now. Just no burnout........
