Would there be any adverse consequences to running an 18x10 in the back and a 17x9 in the front? I mean, it seems like it could be alright, but who knows...

Nope, should be good to go. I've met a few people that have done it without issues.

EDIT: I think the only issue is when you run a different diameter tire.

Would be a different diameter tire if I had 18's in the back and 17's in the front? Or do you mean something else....anyways I want that sloped look without the back wheel bays looking empty, any other suggestions guys?

ya...if i was you, i'd just get either 17's or 18's all around (17 is my preference but to each his own) and get a nice drop on the car.....maybe 2" if you want no wheel gap.......eibach sportlines, h&r supersports, steeda race, and a few others will give you around a 2" drop....you will also need caster cambers.....gl man

I don't really want to lower the rear end, the side exhaust is low enough to the ground at stock ride height and I like the look of a jacked up read end even, I was just wondering if its possible to have 18's in the back and 17's in the front....anyone know for sure?

vette's been runnin it since 97. as long as the overall tire diameter is close should be good to go. for example use a smaller aspect ratio in the rear vs the front.
