All you need is a good set of tools, a jack, and a torque wrench. You don't have to get all of the bearings, but you might as well while you're in there. What you need to fix the one legger problem is a clutch pack. I think its like 60 bucks from ford. You might as well change the gears while you're in there, too. If you do that, you also need a dial caliper, a magnetic mounted micrometer, and a tool to measure pinion depth. The job is not hard, but in order to do it, you need some specialized tools that not every mechanic has. If you do the gear changeover, you will most likely need a press handy.

LOL too funny. I actually checked mine last wk. Wanted to make sure everything was in order so I left a little rubber leaving work one day. Came back the next day and had two NICE black marks stretching about 30 feet. Made my day :nice:

Good to know, also next spring or over winter ill be replacing my clutch, my current is going thats the reason. So am i getting to the point to just have a shop do it? Im only 17 and beginning with this, yea i got friends i can call who know a ton and have them help and what not but im wondering if the tool price, and everything would just be better to have a specialty shop install it. I mean, over winter i can work on it most deffinetly, but give me ur input on this. Thx
