Hey everyone, i tried searching but getting mixed answers.

I have an 2001 GT, bought used and came with 20inch chrome bullit rim replicas with a wheel spacer. Honestly no idea the size of spacer.

Problem im having is i only remember taking the rear wheel off since i bought the car for a flat. Tire shop couldn't get the lugs off because they were striped. Long story short i changed them out a few maybe 3.

Recently went to flush the brake fluid and took off the wheels no problem, but couldn't get all the nuts back on.

both sides are having the problem and seems like the wheel studs are too short and keep getting cross threaded.
Currently im running 3 bolts on each side and need to get it fixed ASAP.

Question i have is do i just replace them again with stock wheel studs or should i get longer? how much longer? only ones i come across is 3inch ARP which i assume are way to big for what im needing. Currently nuts i have probably only grabbing 4-5 threads at most.

Are the spacers more of the washer kind? Or are they hubcentric with five lugs that hold it to the rotor, then five more studs come out of it and those attach your wheel?

If they are the washer kind, just replace your stock studs with OEM replacements and buy true hubcentric wheel spacers, and a new set of lug nuts so the threads don't get screwed up on the new stuff.
