I am looking at upgrading my wheels & tires for my Mineral Grey GT vert. I have been looking at the 18" FR500 style in chrome or black chrome. Does anyone have a pic of a mineral grey with these styles or any other suggestions of what may look good please feel free to advise. Also I am planning to lower the car with a Eibach pro kit as well.

I'm not one for chrome, but either will work. A friend has a Mineral Gray GT with anthracite Bullitts that looks really good.

I don't like chrome on my Mineral Grey. I would go with flat black rims if they were available. Or have the stockers painted.

Also, have you bought the FRPP plenum cover? It is a close match to Mineral Grey color and really cleaned up the engine bay appearance.

Because of the brown tones in the color, I would stay with machined or anthracite. We have machined Mach 1's on ours.

Thanks for all the inputs - I agree with you guys, now staying away from the chrome may be best.

I like those bullets Kooldawg - definitely leaning towards the anthracite or machined - decisions, decisions...

psykostevo - yeah i got the plenum cover but decided to paint black and paint the running horse mineral grey - i like the look....

If you click on my line for the Black 08 GT, you will see in the pic the wheels I use. They are 20x8.5-20x10.5 Shelby Torq Heritage wheels. They are note chrome, but more a mineral/gun metal colour, with a nice lip on them.

everywhere I go people comment on how good they look. You may want to try them on for size

I don't have chrome wheels. However, I do have a Mineral Grey mustang with FR500's. Car looks a bit different now ( No wing, darker tint, brake calipers are painted black, and the FRPP K springs finally settled).

If I had mineral gray I would think about black Bullitt wheels and chrome or black Shelby Razors.

Find the retro LNR wheels like in Gone in 60 sec. in a 20" those are sexxy and work with any color mustang.

What are they called? anyone?
