I have a 99 V6 and am wondering what people think would look better. It is a black car and im debating over 18" black bullit rims or 18" chrome bullit rims. Please feel free to let me know which you think would look better. Thanks alot.

They would both look good, but I think it depends on the style of the rest of car.
Such as, do you have any of the stripes down the hood or along the door skirts? And if so what color? I typically prefer the chrome, but depending on the full color scheme of your car, the black may look good.

Something that stands out on a black car and really pulls the eye in is the best in my opinion...... Chrome is my suggestion!

get 'em in a polished aluminum finish. it's higher maintenance but has more personality. otherwise, chrome gets my vote. it takes a special look to really take advantage of black rims ...pics would help make a better opinion.

+1 for black. im a huge fan of the black on black color scheme(even black bullets on something dark like true blue are sweet). the matching colors looks great but i think the silver lip is what really sets em off. either ones tho will look great

Heres another question while were on this topic. i was also thinking of going with black bullits. but what i wanted to do was go with the deep dish look. could i go two deep dish wheels on back and regular bullits on front? would that work better and would it look better?

i believe thats the only way youd want to use the deep dishes. i dont know what widths they come in but they are usually too wide to use up front also. that looks amazing but then you sacrifice being able to rotate tires

What size are the wheels, the FR's are 18 x 10 arent they? are they even 18's?

I am also going with the black bullitt's, however I'm keeping the polished lip around the rim, and just painting the center spokes black. Mind you this is on an Atlantic Blue stang.

Please post a pic of those once they are mounted. I'd really like to see what the deep dish FR500's look like!

You should have priced 18" tires vs. 17" tires before ordering. Everybody carries 17s, so prices are normal and selection is huge. 18" is an unusual size, so there aren't as many brands to choose from, and they are $$$$.

It's hard to tell 18s from 17s, anyway!
