I have to agree with 795.0pacecar, sounds almost like your posting to intentionally stir the pot. An opinion is one thing, to rag on the 4 eyes every post, and to make light that your going to throw an aero nose on a 4 eyed car in a lot of posts is also pretty annoying. Noones telling you your wrong for your opinion, your just in the minority, and that majority you keep poking a stick at is a very strong opinionated one!

Oh and by the way I am an aero nose owner (93 and 89) and can say the 4 eyes of almost ANY vintage makes the aero nose look like an Escort or Tempo. 4 eyes (especially the early ones, like 79s car) trump the aero nose cars looks wise!

I will say franken, with the aero nose, the only way truly like them is what you have, the Saleen front bumper! I have one going on my car as well (also going to run NO side skirts) and think it makes the look, or what you can make of an aero nose car.

Thank you 25th! I'm actually shocked because I've never met anyone who likes it that way. It had Saleen ground effects all around but they got old. I thought it would look better with just the front piece and the wing.

I have been following your progress thread and can't wait to see your car finished.

The Saleen lower valance actually looks pretty sick on a 4 eye nose...especially an '85-86. I was really close to getting one on my stock nose before i found my Pacecar nose.

Yes Im the same way, people rarely think it will look good, but to me it reminds me of the older 4 eye noses, like what 88 SS 302 Coupe posted, and even what his car looks like. I like the front valance hanging a little lower, and sticking out a little more than the side skirts (or lack there of).

Also that random car that 85 SS 302 coupe posted looks badass!!!

Ya know i used to preach about the front valance/stock all the way back look....people thought i was crazy

It was more like i wanted to look like this:

or this:

While everyone else wanted the drag racer look, i wanted the road racer look, and road race cars have low front valances and not much else!

Oh, and this LX does have a Saleen rear bumper but i think it might even be smaller than a stocker. I can't imagine how someone doesn't think that valance by itself isn't just baaaadaaaaasss!

Okey dokey...

Here's the last 3 i've got....also the only other 3 coupes with '82 GT/Pacecar noses that i've ever seen.

This one is gorgeous but neeeeeds lowered:

And this one needs the fender extensions (good luck with that) but interestingly enough is also a T top (and i think was someone's car on here years ago)

Would one look good on a Capri nose? That's the ONE THING I am going to miss about my car as it is.

Do you mean a Capri/coupe?

Or like a Capri with a valance? Cause the Capris came with pretty much the same one as i have on my car.

That's something i've never seen. There was a dude on here (can't remember his name...someone will though) who had a Capri with an '87+ GT bottom half attached to his Capri upper.....it was really nice and a really good job but i personally didn't care much for it...it was just too square on top and too round on the bottom.

The thing i really like about the Capris is how FLAT they are in the front with the valance...like a bulldozer or something. If i could afford 2 toy cars i'd have me a Capri by now. Oddly enough what i've always wanted was a coupe with Capri venders and nose....basically a Capri coupe....but i've seen pics and now i don't care much for it.

Ya know something i think about every time i think about Capris is what they might have looked like if there was an aero nose version in '87 along with the Mustang.
