When to replace the rear axle stabilizer shocks (quad shocks)?

What is the best way to tell when these are shot? The Bullitt suspension set-up has been on my car for around 3yrs., but the quad shocks are the stockers (74K miles on the car). Thanks!

If you get bad wheel hop they might be bad, but I tossed mine away when I put uca's and lca's in

don't see control arms in your sig so if you do replace them get some for lowered cars. I went with billstein quads.

Get rid of the quads all together an buy a set of MM LCA's that don't need them

Is it necessary to replace both the upper and lower control arms, or can the benefits be noticed with only the lowers? BTW, what are the major benefits of lower control arms, other than the removal of the quad shocks? I don't drag/street race, so will I notice improved handling on the streets? Thanks again!

It still doesn't explain that the rear UCA bushings are shot and in need of replacement anyway.

I just finished taking apart my rear end. Both quad shocks were completely shot (one wouldn't even compress) and the passenger side upper control arm bushings were bad. All of this tat 16k miles
