On My door of my 2006 GT it say 08/05........
I am sure that they made alot less GTs then the V6s.
60,792 Gts seems like a very high number,I think its alot less, maybe around 20,000...JT

Yes, but on March 17th Ford said their expected production was increased from 180K to 192K.

I'd like to see at least one of these places where real '05 production numbers have been posted. None of the major Mustang sites have posted anything official. This includes the YMR, TheMustangSource, Stangnet, The Corral, AllFordMustangs, etc

You need to take a remedial course in internet searching.

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=36539&st=0&p=533624&#entry533624

The 180K & 192K production #s referred to the annual production rate, NOT the # of 2005 Mustangs that were going to be produced. I already explained that the 2005 Mustang had a short production year (less than 12 months long).

Now how about an apology and a promise that you will never again question anything I post.

Looks like you need a remedial reading course. Because once again you are wrong. (you're making a habit of that aren't you?)
Yes, I saw that thread... back when it was first posted. Just as I said in my post, nothing official has been posted.

No appology is necessary for doubting me. (just don't let it happen again)

Well, if you don't call a production breakdown spreadsheet direct from Ford, official, so be it. I've been involoved with other Ford product clubs and that's how Ford distributes the info. these days, in a spreadsheet.

In any case I've learned my lesson. In the future when I know information that someone here on Stangnet is looking for, I will never again waste my time posting it so you doubting Thomas's won't be able to whine at me.

Do you really think Ford is going to use an internet forum to release it's information? I'm not saying what he posted is right or wrong. But I wouldn't recomend believing everything you read on the internet.

BTW, the new Shelby will now be priced at under $30K and have over 1000hp. While the new Mach 1 AND Boss 329 are secretly going to be released next month.
