Hi guys,

I just performed my first oil change on the GT, put some nice fresh Mobil 1 with a K&N oil filter, but when I went to grease the tie rod ends and ball joints there weren't any fittings... I looked in my chiltons manual and couldn't find any diagrams of where grease fittings are located, although in the front it recommends a certain type of chassis grease. Can anybody help me out? This is my first Mustang and first macpherson strut vehicle. Thanks in advance...:nice:

There aren't ant grease fittings. You could use a grease needle attachment on grease gun to inject some grease through the dust boots, but I'm not sure if that's advisable. Also, It's possible to over do it and pop the dust boots open.

Ok, thanks. I looked under the car when I did the oil and I couldn't find any. But when I looked in the manual and they recommended a grease I thought maybe I missed something.

I'd like to find a kit with urethane bushings and new ball joints/ tie rod ends, I'll have to shop around. With 60k on the stock ones I'm guessing they could use replacing.
