This came from the 8 inch rear on my 66. There are 4 on each side to hold the brake backing plate. One of mine was wrong and I'd like to get another. Any ideas where I could buy one. NPD does not carry them and the other large parts houses don't seem to list small parts like this.
I have a bunch of those....if you can't find one then send me an e-mail Ronstang@juno.com and I will see if I can find them and mail you one....I wonder if they would allow it in a normal envelope?
But I'm leaving in the morning and won't be back till Monay evening.
ANother good option is to use the replacement battery bolts. They are much the same size and have similarly shaped heads on them. They worked out just fine on my 9"
Battery bolts are 5/16. Nine inch rears used either a 3/8 or 1/2 bolt here. Plus that battry bolt is a really soft bolt to boot. Ronstang, yes you can mail a bolt, I've done a couple here in the last month or two. Just have to bring it to the post office so they can get the postage right.
