I was reading thru threads after searching and someone said there was a place online for $100 mustangparts.com i thought they said but I cant find the tread anymore so here I am.
Awesome too bad I dont have a autozone near me since im in Canada but next time im down in the US ill pick one up. Do I just gotta bring in my old dizzy? No cap or rotor and it looks like I should keep the plastic part the cap sits on too? Locally its going to cost me about $150.00 is there a benifit to having the reman unit there with you when you swap them?
if you have a napa autoparts they have one for $109 dont know what kinda warranty...if you carry the old dist. with you and turn it in at time of purchase you will not have the core charge.
I'd rather have a Ma and Pa electrical shop rebuild the old dizzy. Nothing against Bill's post - it's a common option (and something I've been stuck doing myself) but lot of the parts-store stuff is total junk. There's a good chance you won't even get a new PIP with it. A new PIP and bushing are the biggies and both are real cheap to replace (if having the dizzy gone through).
