where can i get fake cats?

where can i get like fake cats so i can put them on my off road so it looks like i have cats, can i just take the shells off my stock one and put them on my off road h? that way when i go to emissions i pass the visual test. thanks guys -Jeff

I have two fake cats...porceline ones one either side of my fireplace

Yeah, just use the heat shields off the old ones. Government employees can't tell the difference. If you have to pass a sniffer, just put 2 quarts of ether alcohol in the tank.

jeez....just took my old hpipe to the exhaust shop, cost about $60 for them to make a new pipe (wasnt even an hpipe) outta my old stock hpipe with tall the cats (all 4 of them ) and it passed perfectly. it take about 20 min to change out the o/r hpipe to the catted hpipe with the LT's cause they are all right there. what a difference in sound too

That's what I'll probably end up doing. For those who have done this, did it make it sound better? Or like you had an exhaust leak?

what is the best way of gettin the old shells off? i tried chizeling them but it didn't work out too good, any other suggestions? thanks
