Is there any place to get some touch up cans or does it have to be special odered or mixed by a body/paint shop? looking to buy a new bumper cover.

Might have to get from a body shop. The Laser Red actually has some metal flake in it, thus making it a bit harder to mix. You might be able to find a spray can that is close to a match, but for true Laser Red you may have to go to a body shop.

Thats what I was afraid of, it would probably cost a lot of $$ to have the bumper cover sprayed.

Actually you can't get a true laser red. Laser red is a tri coat finish which cannot be duplicated from a can/bottle. However, the bottle that you get from the body shop (and I'm not so certain that they can just make up a small sample) after they have done some painting for you or someone else needng the laser red finish will be close. I recently had my front and rear covers redone and the the first coat is like a metalic gold. The second is like a translucent red which allows the gold to show through and third is the clear coat.

Yep Ive heard it was a 3 step process, theres a "Garnett Red" that looks similar but I dont want to take a chance and do all the prep work and stuff only to have it not look good, if you dont mind, how much did spraying your covers set you back? Im thinking of calling a few shops I used to deal with.

I don't recall specifically but I'm thinking about $500. However this may not be typical as I know the owner (he has a 95 cobra convertible) and I got what I jokingly refer to as the "mustang" discount.
