I am looking, might have to get new seats as the body shop butchered my seats with welding sparks.

!!!$2000!!!! FOR A SEAT!!

Damn, I was hoping that they'd be a hell of a lot cheaper..then maybe they'd swing for those instead of repairing the seats I have...

Cost to repair current seats = ~$700
Cost for two 03 Cobra seats = ~$4000

yow.

5.0 is right that is for the set. Besides what do you care, if the shop is going to pay for them. I can almost bet the Ford would charge you more.

You could always print out that page with the prices, get them to pay you, then buy the seats you want.

just get some nicer seats

I would go with somthing like the cobra misano series in leather or just upgrade from the heavy azz stock ones to some nice leather racing seats.

ps. take the cash and get some mods.

Ok, first off, let's get this straight, there ARE people on this board (as all boards) that are not stupid. OK? I am one of them, believe it or not, there are factors that exist that have not been mentioned on this board that you do not (at least, if you are not psychic or something) know about. One of them is the owner. He still has a hard time believing that the welding sparks got onto my seats (he doesn't come aloud and say it, but he hints at it every time I talk to him). As such, he would not pay more than he has to for this problem to be fixed. That being true, he would NEVER pay $2000 for new seats. I asked because I was possibly going to get the seats via his payment to me for repair of the old seats, and cash from my own pocket. That is why I care how much the seats cost.

Second, yes it is for the pair, that has been established. I missed some important information, sorry. I ****ed up, sorry.

Now. I get to find out how much he has to pay today. I should have repairs finished soon.

Oh, yeah, I do have the Cobra Daytona seats, if anyone did/does care. I like them, but they are annoying to lean back. That's why I asked about 03/04 seats.

I am sorry, I did not mean to imply that you or anyone is stupid.

First, I was just agreeing with 5.0 about the cost.

You did not indicate you did not have an 03/04 Cobra. I assumed you did and would want them to replace them. I would be ticked off if they damaged my seats and I would want them to make it right.

Again, I am sorry you thought I was acting as if you are stupid.

Peace,
Rogue Cobra

Hey, no hard feelings, just hard to get the correct emotion/intent in someone's words sometimes, and I apparently am not all that good at it.

I might be getting these seats afterall..he's putting his 'feelers' out for some.
