I finally get everything put in and hooked up on my rebuild and i start to notice the wiring, Both alternator plugs are shot, almost melted looking, exposed wires just ouside the connection ... And the Wire harness that routes underneath the engine has the same problem minus the melted look...altho all the factory connections were completely gone with just bare wires glued together ... Now i was wondering if there was a place i could find replacement connections or if i absoultly had to, a new harness?? Any suggestions?

Might be a good time to do an alternator upgrade to the one out of a 94 or newer mustang.

They sell replacement main power connectors at the parts stores, but it would be better if you got a 94-up 3G alt, they put out more amps and above all they are safer than the old 2G alternators.

Anytime i have called these guys they have wanted absurd amounts of money for things. I have pretty much given up on them.
Last time i called them i needed a rear lower seat. They wanted $150+$40 shipping.
I payed $20+$30 for shipping on ebay.
