I ended up keeping it in the trunk, in a cargo net, but I do not like it there. It takes too much room in the glove box and doesn't fit well.

mine is here on he computer desk. seems like i get more use out of it for other people than ii do for myself. i have not used it recently, though. seems like most of the questions are for options that were not available in 05, so my manual does not help anymore.

i try to keep only the esentials in my car. that way, if you hear a rattle or something, it is not just the junk in the console/glovebox making the noise and you know its something else.

It's in my glove box along with my GPS, mount, Registration, Insurance card, and chewing gum (you never know when you'll bump into a cute redhead).

I bought a second copy. I keep one copy in the trunk and one copy at home.

The trunk? ok never mind, Mine is pretty small so I keep it in the glove box.
I write down everything I do to my stang in it with the mileage when done, oil changes, add ons repairs and such.

Don't laugh. When I bought my used 1995 GT, I found it in the trunk with the wrapping still on it and the car was 5 years old!

Its in my dresser drawer. Takes up too much room elsewhere. When I bought the car, first thing I noticed was no pockets on the backs of the seats. They were on the sn95s. This forum is great for me because I'm too lazy to read it. There's a lot of stupid obvious stuff to go thru before you get to what you need to know.

And let's not forget that the door pockets are worthless...

Mine is still in the glove box. I flipped through it the night I brought the car home. Since then, maybe 3 times.

I can hold a few maps in there, but otherwise you're 100% correct.

Glovebox? Mine doesn't fit in the glove box, it has a nice black zipped up cover that it goes in. So I've tried everyplace and the only one I could come up with was sandwiching between the center console and rear seat since theres only about an inch of space . It fits nice and is virtually unnoticeble, plus if the cops pull me over then its in quick reach so I can show them insurance, registration, etc.

Mine is in a small neoprene-like case that is zipped up. Around 5" x 8"? Not very big and fits the glovebox fine as that's where it was originally located when I bought the car. The Ford CD is also in there with the original plastic wrapping.

I don't know where I keep my paperback copy of the owner's manual. I read it cover-to-cover while I saved up for a tank of gas so I could drive my new Mustang, then misplaced it. I couldn't get the package to fit in the glove box. Reckon that's why it disappeared. Ah, well. When I need some information from the book, I keep a PDF copy on my computer, all courtesy of BradBarnett:

I keep mine in the glove box.
Fits well.
Of course, I have the glovebox organizer from MossMustang, that helps keep it al lneat and tidy.

I'm going to try sandwiching between the center console and rear seat and if I don't like it it will be time to call Moss Mustangs. Thanks for the replays some good answers and some funny stuff also.
The cargo net was ordered from Ford and it does a great job keeping stuff in place. I also got a cargo mat, easy to clean after carrying fishing gear and drops the noise inside the car by several db.

Thanks all!

This reminds me of a 'not so funny then' but funny now incident. A few years ago, a Nissan's alarm went off annoying the whole block in a busy area. Owner was sitting in passenger seat flipping thru flimsy pages of a manual trying to figure out how to turn the thing off!
