I have a painless relay kit for my electric fan and was wondering whats the best way to mount the thermostatic switch? Should I use a T fitting with the temperature sender in the intake? I heard some people use the hole in the thermostat housing but Im sure which one it is. Is it the one with the square bolt on top? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Pictures would help also. Thanks.

You can do it either way. The one I have on my Ranger is done with a T in the intake along with the temp sender.
