Ok I built an engine for my 95 mustang gt, new rod and main bearings, pistons, rings, double roller timing chain set, ported heads, TFS stg1 cam, TFS street intake manifolds. Ok since the new engine I have put on like 100km and I have tried it out to see what kind of power it is making and I really can't tell a difference from the engine I took out. There was an EGR code at first and I put in a different valve and it still never made a difference. The motor just doesn't seem to pull like it should. I still only have the 19lb injectors and no chip and 11 degrees of timing but I just want to know what others think could be robbing my power?? any kind of suggestions would be appreciated.

humm I would giver on a dyno tune, I have seen people gain up to like 80hp from a tune because they had it out so bad (thought it was good).

have you done the proper break in procedures?

a quick way to seat rings, put the car in 3rd gear at 2000 rpms and floor it to about 3500rpm. i would do this 8-10 times. The heavy load should get them to break in quick

What is the compression ratio? And yeah, you need to twEEC it some (i.e. fuel, more timing etc.) and break it in.

11dg timing could be robbing you up to 20+ HP. Mine jumped with the timing change to 15dg.
