Where is the clutch adjustment on a 97?

Where is the clutch adjustment on a 97, is it on the firewall?

Place the car in 1st gear and then pull up on the clutch pedal until you hear it click.

** make sure the car is off**

just stick your left big toe under the clutch pedal and lift till it stops moving, if you hear a clik it needed adjusting if not it didnt.

Just lifting the pedal will not adjust it, you need to pump it a few times. You will hear a racheting noise and thats the clutch adjusting, just pulling up till you hear it click will do nothing.

Funny how it worked for me doing it.

you do have to pull up on the pedal if the adjustment is off. remember the stock quad sucks so it might still be off
