Where is the PCV Valve located?

Hey guys, pretty new to the Mustang world, so I've got the question above.

I have a 93 LX 5.0. I just bought the PCV valve, and I know what it looks like, but I can't find it in the engine bay! HAHA!!

I've read that it's connected to the upper intake. There's a hose that runs from the back of the upper intake down into a maze of other hoses way down and in the back of the engine bay. Very hard to see where it ends. Is that where it's located?

It's at the backside and toward bottom of you intake-- close to the firewall.

Its in your lower intake, in the back right in the middle! Has a large vacuum hose attached it.

I finally got around to doing this, and it wasn't so hard after all. The confusion was that the original PCV valve is black, so it blends in with the vacuum hose that attaches to it.

The new one I got was polished metal, and that's what I was looking for.
Also, the new one came with three separate fittings at the top of the valve, but you need to remove those before attaching the valve to the hose.

It wasn't too hard to reach the PCV valve, you pretty much have to snake your arm through the right side of the engine and to the back of the firewall to get it, but the hose comes off easily.

One more thing, mine was full of oil. What does that mean?

Oil is normal on the valve. Below it lies a screen and below that, the lifter valley. There's oil splashing around there all the time. The lower screen is designed to trap that oil from going up and out of the engine, but letting the engine push the extra pressure out somewhere.

You swapped the PCV valve. Did you clean or replace the screen beneath it?
