where should i set timing and fuel pressure

finally got car running right after putting in new block

it smells like im buring some oil, dont no if im running rich or just have stuff set up wrong, the car was missing this morning, but not real bad, but i gotta fix it,lol

heres what i got and im wondering where i should set timing and fuel pressure,
right now timing is at like 12 or 13 and fuel pressure is 35 i believe,


heres what i got,

gt-40 iron heads, from 93 cobra, with 1.7 scorpion rockers
76 c and l mass air meter
24# fuel injectors
edelbrock performer intake
underdrive pulleys
paxton fuel pressure regulator
3.55's
110 fuel pump
new shortblock from summit, just a regular 5.0 one
trickflow cam
Specifications: in case this will help

* Advertised duration: 275 intake/279 exhaust
* Duration at .050 in. lift: 221 intake/225 exhaust
* Gross valve lift: .499 in. intake/.510 in. exhaust
* Lobe separation: 112 degrees
* RPM range: 2,000 to 5,500

forgot, i also have motorsport shorty headers, off road h-pipe and flowmasters, what kinda horsepower, do u think i have???

try your pressure around 40lbs or so...maybe a 190lph fuel pump would help also....timing should be ok ... but mine dont seem right if i drop it below 14*

ok, ill turn up the timing a little bit, ill also check my plugs, to see if one fouled out.

when your car misses with performance mods, does that mean that u need to turn your timing up????
