I was working on the Stang the other night and I had one of these hard plastic vacuum lines snap on me. The ones on there seem very brittle and I was wondering where I could buy some new ones for the three lines? Or the whole set with the plug. I'm talking about the red, green, and tan lines that run to the EGR, Intake, and one of the check valves. Thanks.

I've had those break a lot on me also. I just used a small piece of rubber tubing from an auto parts store to join them back up.

I was thinking of doing that and will if I have to, but I was hoping to find the real deal so I can put it back together right. They are around 13 years old....I could probably use some new ones.

Is it not a Ford dealer stocked item?

I had a similar problem (however mine was due to a fire)

Let me know if you find anything out. In the meantime, my fix came from some vacuum tubing from a local parts store. snip off an inch or so of one of the lines and take it in with you, and they should be able to set you up with an appropriate temp. fix.

I've heard that both rabbit water feeding lines, and aquarium lines would probably also work. Further, I found that the tubing that came in my brake bleeding kit was the exact fit for the job (after I had already finished the work)

Let me know if you find a way to source the real deal

I replaced the entire tubes with vacuum hose from the parts store (and all the other vacuum lines while I was at it).
