hey im new to the forum and i just bought a 91 Mustang LX (hatchback) and i also own an 89 LX (hatchback) which is toast, anyway the 91 i just picked up has no rust and the motor clicks and when it idles (rarely on its own) it goes up and down tryin to keep it self running til it eventaully stalls. when its warm, you have to hold it over 2000rpm and if you go below that, it drops fast and stalls. and i would really like to know where i can find turbo motors because i would like to run a turbo. BTW this car was only $600 cdn so i couldn't resist. any ideas would help alot, thanx in advance Dan here is a pic of the beast

several of them out there.. but you will need more than just an engine... you will need a computer for the turbo engine and tranny combo, you will need a Vane Air Meter (VAM) or do the swap to MAF (cost some money and programming know how) and there are several sites that will walk you throught the entire swap from engine install and rebuild to repinning of the harness for the turbo computer...

Shipping engines can be real expensive. I was going to bid for one on Ebay, but shipping would have been more than the engine itself.

shipping (Fedex) can generally be $1/lb... Limas weigh in around 290-300lbs (per TRS).
