I'm in need of a few parts before i can put my T-5 back together again.

1) I need the 15 roller bearings that fit inside the input shaft. If you have the T-5 rebuild manual it would be part number 66A

2) 3-4 synchro springs. One snapped on me. Need a new one. Part number 79 in the T-5 manual.

Does anyone have any FORD part numbers for these? WOuld Ford even have these?

Not sure if your local dealer would have them or not try www.hanlonmotorsports.com or www.ddperformance.com

I may have the bearings...when I rebuilt my T-5, I had the input shaft modified to accept the cobra spec tappered bearing nad didn't use the ones you are needing.

You might want to consider using the cobra bearing..if you have the tranny completely apart, go get the bearing from your local tranny parts supplier (there's a shop here that's called Lester's tranmissions) they had the bearing I needed and I took it, the input shaft and main shaft to a machine shop and let them perfom their magic. After three +/- years..still going strong.

If you want the needle bearings I'll look for them and you can have them..

I looked into converting it to cobra spec, but i just want to keep this tranny low-buck. I got it for free and it needed a new mainshaft. I got a good used one cheap and just need these few misc parts to put it back together. I just need the tranny to last the summer that's why i'm not wanting to soak some big money into it.

If you could look for those roller bearings i would appreciate it.

Now i just need the 3-4 synchro springs. I know hanlon has them, but i don't want to whip out the credit card for an 0.88 cent part. I was kinda hoping ford might have em.

HEY....

How would you like to get the bearings and a couple of the synchro-springs??

I think I've got what you need sitting here in front of me...well, maybe not in front of me when you read this. I'll be damned if I'm going to take these things to bed with me..

PM me with some info on how to get them to you..you'll be indebted to me now!!

These smiley's are crazy aren't they??
I've got to do the Rooster Bunny thing with the kid in the afternoon on Sunday, I'll respond to you as soon as I get back Sunday evening.

www.drivetrain.com

They sell entire rebuild kits as well as independent kits like a bearing kit, seals and gasket kit, ect.....you get the idea.
