Hey guys... I have been lurking for a while on the site as I research everything involved with my project. I picked up a 65 Convertible a few months ago with the 200CI I6. I am going to replace the suspension and drivetrain in the car as well as stiffen things up with torque box's and some type of welded in subframe connection.
I have all the parts for a 351W coming my way in the next few weeks less the block itself. I figure I will kijiji the block or find one from a scrapyard.
My question is: Can you guys let me know who you guys have used in S Ontario for engine machining, hopefully on 351 blocks and how you feel about the job they did. I live in the Niagara region but work in Burlington so for me I am looking for a place west of the 427 and hopefully south of the 401, although the KW region is not out of the question.
I figure I will need the block to be magnafluxed, and if all good decked and honed and whatever else the shop suggests.
