Where to get key on hot under hood?

I have been thinking of where I can get a key on hot underneath my hood for my FAL fan controller. I saw the write ups using the Evap purge solenoid, but that has all been eliminated on my car and I don't see the plug anywhere. Does anyone know an easy access key on hot under the hood I could use (location & wore color etc) ? Preferably on the passenger side, but it really doesn't matter, I just don't want to have to run a wire all the way into the drivers area.

What I've used in the past is the red power wire for the wiper motor. Sorry, that's on the driver's side, haha.

Oh yeah never thought of that. Good idea, thanks for the idea, really anything under the hood works just don't want to run wires into the cabin.

Tap any red solid color wire. They are all energized when the ignition switch is in the Run position.

Thanks for the replies! I have one more question, and rather than making another thread maybe someone can answer it in here. Does anyone by chance know the thread pitch of the engine temp sender? Im looking to add aftermarket gauges and their sender is 1/8" npt and i know the factory does not look to be that small. They sell adapters but not sure of what the factory sending unit is. Anyone know?

I think the stock sender is 3/8" pipe.

So I'd probably need a 3/8" to 1/8" adapter. Is there anywhere that may have these specs Available or are you fairly certain? I trust your knowledge as you always seem to have the correct answers, but wanted to be certain before ordering

Autometer sells an adapter to mate their sender to a 3/8" port. I can't remember the part number however.
