where to get tranny seals?

Do you still have the old ones???

If so, there should be a number stamped on them on the outer surface. Locate that number, write it down and go to your local bearing supplier. Here we have a company called Allied bearing, I've taken old seals in and got replacements with no trouble at all. Your local parts store should have a bearing/seal cross-reference book with these numbers in them. Ask them to help you find the seal number in the book. I have just asked for the book and found it myself...some of these young kids at the parts store have not been shown the "old school" way of looking things up in a book...

The cool thing about a cross-reference is that it doesn't matter what the part is from. You're matching the numbers from the old part.
