Where To Ground Relocated Battery In The Trunk?

I am beginning to install my Taylor Battery Re-location Battery Kit and I am wondering where you guys mount your ground at the back of the car. I also have a JL 10W7 Sound System that I will have to ground at the rear of the car as well. Is it alright to have them grounded in the same area? Any input would be great.

I located the battery in the right rear. Get a 3 foot #1 cable and tap a hole in the rear frame rail. Get a good tap I broke one doing it. I also tapped connected a ground from the engine mount to the frame rail in the front right. ALSO tapped and connected the ground from the battery mounted in the front to the body panel right behind the light. That should be good enough. Use some battery spray on all the connectors too.

Are there others who have done this mod...I have been told that I should keep the ground cable as short as possible.

Mine is grounded to the trunk latch loop thing, and under the hood, the red spot close to the headlight is the OE ground, and the second red spot is power connection I made from there to the back of the car.

I have since cut/formed the rear/side carpet panel to fit nicely where the battery box now sits.

Its a good kit, however, I felt the supplied rubber grommets for the box were too small/frustrating make work. I cut them and then was able to work with it better, then I used some clear silicone and re-sealed it to the wire.

Your pictures are not showing up I am getting red x's. What do you mean that you grounded it at the trunk loop thing? I am not exactly sure what you are referring to when you say that?
Did you run a ground all the way to the front of the car or did you just ground the old front ground cable to the car?

Thanks for all of the help guys. I took several of your ideas, plus the idea of GI Joe from here at Stangnet and created a grounding post in the trunk that is attached directly to the frame via a drain hole in teh trunk.
Seems like a stout ground that will allow me to connect both my battery and aftermarket sub amp grounds. I like the idea of keeping the wires inside the cabin.
