I was going to relocate my battery and mount the msd there, but after reading the rules I decided not to do that. I would really like to mount it in the engine bay, but I can't find a place with enough room to mount it. Let me know where you have your msd mounted.

Please don't make fun of my wires. I know they are look like crap. I had just put the new intake manifold on and I really wanted to finish so I could drive the car. But anyways you can see where I use to have mine until it burnt up for the second time The first time MSD fixed and sent it back, the 2nd they sent me a whole new box I have yet to put it back in. I am going to put it under the pass seat in the car. Along with the timing control.

I see you both mounted it in the same spot. What did you use to mount it and have you had a problem with it falling off or the screws coming loose? I thought about mounting there but I was worried that I couldn't get to my clutch adjustment. It also worried me that I might hit the wiper motor.

Do you have a Fox? I didn't have a problem with any clearance and one screw was all I used.

No, I have a 95. It just didn't look like I had clearance when I held the box there. I was not sure about screwing to the plastic either. I didn't think it would hold.

Alright I hate you guys. I am really sensitive about my wires. J/K
And as for my MSD box it just stopped working. I live in AZ so the summers get up to 115ish. Both last summer and this the box would go out and my car would just stall. I would plug the stock one back in and keep driving. So I am guessing it's from the heat. Also as for mounting I took that whole back piece off. It is only like 8 or 10 little screws. I can't remember the size screws. I also used locking bolts from the back.
