Where to pull codes

Where is the place on the wiring harness that you can hook up a test lamp to pull codes located? I have no idea and if you have a picture or a diagram that would be even better

its a few inches infront of the fire wall on the driver's side. if you have a haynes manual it shows you exactly how to do it. its under the emissions section. and if you dont have a haynes manual you should buy one. mine has paid for itself multiple times over.
and its actually two connectors your looking for, not just one

Right behind the drivers shock tower should be both of the wire harness connectors that you need to connect to.

Any pictures would help. I think one of them has EEC TEST written on the top, how do I get teh top of it off, just that one clip on there or what? What is the other harness I'm looking for, is it connected to the car or does it hang?

What you're looking at is the cover. It doesn't come off. The connectors come out the bottom. You have to push on the release clip and push the big connector out of the bottom. It can be a little tough The small connector just slides out.

system passed when the key was turned no engine running, but when I connected the jumper when it was running the rpm kept going up, had to turn it off when it hit 2500, is that normal or what does that mean?
