OK please excuse me if this has been covered before, but I did a search and couldn't really come up with an answer.

Is there anyone else other than Hertz that rents Mustangs? I don't need to have the GT 350 H, a base Mustang will do. I want it for my next car, but would like to sell the wife on it too and I figure if we can rent one for the weekend for an upcoming trip it would kill two birds with one stone.

Issue is, Hertz wont let me pick up in Philly and return to BWI. Was hoping someone else rented Mustangs but so far I cant find anyone that has anything other than the GM crap boxes that have seemed to keep GM alive due to the rental car market.

Thanks!

Jeff

Check your local ford dealer. A dealer ten minutes from my place here in Illinois rents out ford cars from there own rental car fleet. They usually have two mustangs in the fleet at all times.

Do you think a local Ford dealer would let me rent it in Philly and drop it off in Baltimore?

THAT is the whole problem. I can rent a Mustang from Hertz with no problem, they just wont let me drop it off somewhere other than the pick up point.

It sure worked for me, I rented one and had the wife thinking I bought it. The next day I bought one and she was eager to drive me 150 miles to get the one I wanted. hehe sneaky aint it!
