I'm not saying the sky is falling... but just that everyone should pay close attention.

Nope there will be no draft now, but this is EXACTLY how World Wars begin. If this escalates too far the US will be forced to bail Isreal out if Isreal "bites off more than they can chew."

israel vs lebanon

i dont understand why isreal attacked their public airport saying thats how hezzbolah gets their weapons in??

Im sure the terrorist group is using secretive ways on the down low to get their stuff and not the international airport

I think they are just pissed about the 2 soldiers being held captive and decided to hit something

Don't worry, WW3 won't start until oil runs out in about 50-75 years. China, Russia, N Korea, and Iran vs. the rest of the world.

So far in history, the Arabs have been the one's that bit off more than they can chew. The Arabs are just lucky the world call the pitbull off thier neck when Isreal went on a ass-kicking frenzy in the 60's. They knocked Egypt and Syria before they even knew what was going on. Now, if Iran's amy tries to use Iraq to travel through to help Syria and Lebanon, then it's on.

China and Russia may sympathise some with Iran, that can be argued. But what is most likley is that they don't want more enemies so they won't do anything for or against Iran, however I really doubt they would fight a war for them. If they do come to Iran's aid, they won't leave, they will take over.

I started getting nervous when Japan serious started discussing if they could legally pull off a pre-emptive strike against N. Korea.

You know something is up when Japan feels that threatened.

Thats good to go Monte..
As far as the subject matter....Israel doesnt play like we do. Only recently have they been held back by diplomatic relations with countries like us. Lebanon on the other hand has been known to be a state sponsor of terrorism. End the end they are probably doing us a favor. As far as the airports, you can either transport through the Med sea or fly gear in. Knowing that many of these terrorist organizations have good financing, its a great possibility. Like I said Israel just doesnt play, or hide the fact of what they know or do. This conflict has had roots going all the way back to the Lebanese civil war. As far as a draft, if you read some of CNN's news, sunnis are currently trying to get the United Nations involved in Iraq. Some may say this would look like the US cant handle their buisness, but in actuality it would free our hands from the vast majority of commitments (much like Afghanistan). To make it a bit shorter. If Israel needs support (doubt they will) we will probably no incur a draft. Besides we are tactically prepositioned already.

Damn right. If we did things like Isreal, the war on terror would be over, if the terrorist would have even had the balls to hit the towers. If it wasn't for the liberals screaming how racial profiling is so wrong, maby the terrorists wouldn't have even had the chance. This country does everything so diplomatically, and yet everyone still hates us. If we were like isreal, other countries would fear us even more than they hate us. I think the next senator/represenative that cries next time an insurgent or alquida member's "rights" are violated, they should be held for treason.

Yeah, and some say the belife that one race of people being supiorior to another is racisim and not true. It might be racist, but it is true. Look at a Isreali, inteligent, thinking, a real person, then look at a syrian, palastinian, Lebanese... just dumb blank eyes, nothin there. Look at isreal, prosperous and they don't even have oil. Look at the arab world, poor as hell, living in thier own filth.

Let me add: Anyone want to call me a bigot, that's fine, I don't really care, because the truth is that I know there are probally many who are good people, but so many of them HATE us, and if the shoe was on the other foot, and we were the minority, and they were the majority, or if an Arab country was the Superpower, they would be exterminating us like we were bugs in a restraunt that they just found out the heath department was on it's way. Sorry, I'm not going to be nice to ten people when nine of them want to kill me. That one person needs to step aside or he's getting it too.
