Which alertnator bracket to use on 351W

I have a 3G alertnator and I'm putting in a 351W in my mustang. I was wondering what alertnator brackets you guys are using. I'm not running smog, AC or power steering. Just an alertnator.

I thought that you could use a 5.0 bracket on the 351. If not, one from a 351 crown vic or pickup should do the trick.

Unfortunately (for you) my car was a 351 conversion when I bought it. The alt lined up, but the PS shredded the belt. I ripped all of that off and made a simple mount for my alt down low. I have no crank driven wp belt, however it could be used with a standard rotation WP and a V or ribbed belt. March makes a similar config (much prettier), IMO they wanted too much green for something so simple. The simple design you see here works fine even at 6800rpm.

Yea I just found out that a 302 bracket will work. Does anyone know of 351 1 3/4 long tube headers that will fit a with a C6 trans..

i think you gotta use 351 long tubes--different than 302
