Which Cam?

I have the Comp 262ah's, .550 lift and 226/230 duration. Very noticable at idle, good mid range power. I shift at 6.5kvrpm with my 390s and Stage II heads. Lots of power up top. My power pulls all the way up to a little over 6200rpm.

should be getting my ported heads with comp springs within the week. I am planning on running the XE262AH's. I was told close to 35 rwhp over stock heads and cams but i hope it will be more.

Is the stock bottom end safe at 6500 rpm? I would think the cam would quit making hp and especially drop off with torque about 5800-6000.

I gained around 50 rwhp on this tune and I had it retuned and got about 5 more hp. standard bolts on at 260rwhp to 310 as shown with the heads and cams. Yes it is a STD calculation but the day was Humid and nasty out. It wouldnt have made much difference if any if I went with SAE.

How does the XE262AH compare to VTEngine's stage I cam? More or less aggressive?

Does anyone have a video/sound clip of the XE262AH at idle & rev???
a lot less agressive. The stage1s are more of an all motor cam. My cams are much better for forced induction.
