Magnaflows aren't a bad exhaust from what i hear. I don't have it but all the ones i have heared aren't too loud. Alos the SLP lm2 is pretty good sounding. Thats one of the ones i have been thinking about getting because with my lt's and x-pipe it would sound sweet. It all depends on you budget too. What year/engine/mods is this for?

iv had the best of both worlds IMO.
my first setup was a Mac catback, with mac catted x..this is the most bitchin sound ever...but mac quality is not that great. i was having issues with the tips staying straight for over a yr.

my current setup- pypes lts, vrs o/r x, LM2 catback. this system is very docile at idle... but when i step on it, everyone gets to hear. hehe

Without question one of the best sounding stangs I have heard in a long time.
Sounds like Magnaflow/Bassani/Borla all rolled into one system!

I wonder what it sounds like with the stock H pipe because I can't run O/R here and it might be too loud for me anyway.

I'm currently running the standard Magnaflow catback, not packs, and thinking of getting something different as the drone at 2k is killing me.

Magnaflows paired with an o/r x are great.

I have mine dumped with a UPR o/r x pipe. I am going back to tail pipes soon. Sounds much better.

Well, if you have to keep the stock mide pipe in go with SLP loudMouth ones (best sound with the stock mide pipe). If you can get a catted mide pipe go with Magnaflow Maganapacks. I have a catted H and the packs, love the sound. Quick video of what the packs sound like from in the car with windows down. http://s35.photobucket.com/albums/d...view&current=SpringMustangCruise2008_0002.flv

I went with Pypes Violators too, and I couldn't be happier. If you don't plan on replacing your midpipe, the sound is perfect. However, it might be too loud for you if you changed the midpipe. I wanted full stainless catback, good sound, and not a ton of money, and Pypes was the one that met my requirements.

I have always loved my Mac catback, sounds mean as hell. It is true about the fitment though, was a PITA getting the tips straight...I haven't had any issues with rust either as some have noted--of course then again my car isn't a DD.
