which clutch on a budget with my HP

very very interesting...I would like to know more about that clutch...is it a stock king cobra or an upgraded king cobra clutch??? If it's the regular kc clutch, then his #'s are way off, if it's upgraded, I'd LOVE to know more about what he did to it, as I'll be shopping for a clutch soon too.

i actually emailed tony and he responded quicky stating the following:
I would like to apologize for the
delay, and notify you we did not even charge your Credit Card for the Clutch
Kit, due to it not ever being shipped out. If you would still like us to
process your order we can. We will "waive" the $14.00 Ground Freight Charge
for the mistake and ship it out this afternoon.

Very cool of him. I guess i will wait until Friday now. Seems like a fair and honest guy to me.

the clutch is a HD clutch that valeo makes i guess. i think i have it in my car now and KNOW i had it in my other mustang prior to this one. been great for me!

Well, you were right. I did get mine before you.
It showed up today, only problem is a badly smashed alignment tool...

King Cobra is better than the HD, less pedal effort...same power hold.

I had in on my h/c/i car...worked great until I got oil on it. Great bang for the buck clutch.

A KC should be fine. The HD offers slightly more clamping force (talk to ddperformance or astroperformance if you wanna know the facts). If you want something that will with out a doubt hold up, use a KC or HD pp with a mcleod disk. Holds my combo just fine and no issues what so ever in the near 7k rpm range. I got mine from astroperformance.com Tony was very good to deal/talk with!

I can tell you though back years ago when I had my h/c/i 302 combo with spray the HD clutch held up fine with 50k + miles

Anybody ever look at the Super King Cobra from Andersen Motorsports? When I do mine I want to make sure I only have to do it once.

that sux! did you call him? i just got the tracking number this morning. i actually thought this was the HD King Cobra. If they are the same, that's fine. I think I should be fine regardless with it being able to hold 400 hp (supposedly).

I sent him an email, he offered to send a new one to me. Good service IMO
