Which code in the VIN# is the interior color?

Hey guys I have to replace quite a few interior parts and pieces because they are 21 years old and worn out in my 88 coupe. I have a grey interior and I know there's 2 different greys that came in fox mustangs. I just need to know which grey I have so I know what to order from LMR. I need things like headliner, kick panels, sunvisors, maybe carpet(I might go with black carpet) and a few other things I cantthink of at the moment.

So can anybody help me find which code in the VIN is the interior color?

The interior color code is not in the VIN, the VIN only contains information on model, year, location of assembly, etc... The color code and other info is on the door tag located in the drivers door jam or on the end of the drivers door. Go here 1988 Mustang GT Decoder Form and put the info from your door tag into it and you will get your answer.

There are actually 3 different greys used in the 87-93 Mustang.

1988 would have smoke grey (PG for cloth, GG for leather)
