i am currently looking for handling package
such as K-member, front A-arms, rear lower control arms, torque arm, panhard bar, sway bars, K-member brace, coil overs.

thanks fella:nice:

It all depends on your need. The top contenders are Maximum Motorsports, Steeda, Griggs, and UPR. There are others, but those are likely the best in terms of "package" providers, where you can get all parts from them.

I have Steeda caster/camber plates that I am quite happy with, Maximum Motorsports urethane spring isolators, and then normal Tokico HP shocks/struts/springs.

Whenever I make the move to more suspension items, I am going to go with MM (besides the Granatelli rear control arms and full length subframe connectors waiting to go on).

My reason is that Maximum Motorsports uses their production parts in cars they race, plus they are awesome at explaining what parts do, why they developed each item in the way they did, etc.

UPR sucks
I had to hold back a comment on their quality - I personally have had no issue with their A/C and smog delete pulleys, and the boost pipe seems to be nice, but I know people have had complaints about their suspension components.

And I completely forgot about Kenny Brown in my little short list - saw it in the link Daggar mentioned (which looked like it would help this guy answer his question).

word, I've read plenty of "UPR sucks" rant threads. I've only bought one thing off them, it was the brushed alum dash insert. paid for it, and it didn't mail for like 2 weeks, being aware of their crappyness, I called them back, and got two lol. They mailed it to me twice. Then I read a thread on corral about how some guy got his K-member cracked at the welds. that's some scary ****.

UPR sucks

thats a very detailed

why does upr suck?? what are you basing that off of?? he said she said bs?? or product usage??? personally i have installed 6 upr suspension packages.. and all of them work just fine.. and one of them is on a high 9 second big block 94 gt .. no problems with it at all.. there k member fits better then the factory k- member..

and to answer the original question.. upr suspension.. works alot better for a drag car.. then a handling car..

I agree, the UPR supsension stuff is about weight reduction and drag racing, not road racing. as for the quality, I read a thread on corral about how someone got a UPR K-member that had cracks in the welds. that's some scary ****. The rest of the "upr sucks" threads are ones dealing with misplaced orders, getting the runaround for 3-4 months, etc.

Maximum Motorsports

I just installed their complete coil-over package, CC plates and strut tower brace. High quality parts, excellent installation instructions, top notch customer support and the ride quality is great.
