There are a few motor combo's that i am trying to decide on. ALL of them with use a set of heads that have been ported to flow 250cfm@.550, a set of Trickflow stage 2 cams, BBK long tubes, and a corresponding O/R X pipe.

Combo number 1:
Teksid aluminum block
DSS all forged internals 4.6
10:5 compression

Combo number 2:
MMR 600 4.6 short block
10:5 compression

Combo number 3:
Proline 5.0 stroker
Use my block
10:5 compression

I still plan on using nitrous. I am going to step it up to a 150 shot this time. I am adding a 255 fuel pump tho to be on the safe side.

But, i have also thought about throwing the nitrous away, and going all motor and using the HiTech stage 2's.

I just dont know what to do, i need some opinions and suggestions.

I would choose something with a lower compression...something below 10:1...you may put a blower on someday...and you will be glad you did if you go with a lower compression up front..

Get Forged under any circumstances...no exception to that..

Other than that..you won't go wrong..

Out of the options listed, i'd go with option 2. Also +2 on the 200 shot. Keep the spray. You dont always run it on spray so it'll still be a strong NA motor when not on the giggle gas.
