which ford racing cam???

I wouldnt suggest buying a cam, but if you had to get a cam id go with a tfs stage 1. If you want a ford Id go with an fcam. The stock lower intake and heads are going to be VERY restrictive for an aftermarket cam and the stock 5.0 cams arent that bad.

Look into a cobra intake, or suspension/chasis parts such as subframes, lower control arms, etc.

The alphabet cams are proven cams, not knocking them. There are much better cams out there on the market than the Ford Racing cams. Look at the Comp Cams Extreme Energy cams they are excellent. They have more agressive ramp rates, which allow them to make more power under the curve. The TFS1 cams are good cams also. I personally wouldnt switch cams unless i had more mods to support the camshaft or it is wasted money as Mob said the stock cam isnt the restriction in the motor..just my 2

unless you plan on doing an intake and heads soon, dont even waste your time. theres far better mods that are less labor intensive. definitely get yourself some 3.73s before even bothering with a cam. as stated before theres far better cams out these days for the same price as alphabet cams, in some cases even cheaper. the tfs stage 1 cam is emissions legal and cheaper. makes more power then the e cam and b cam too.

i've got the b cam and like it.i first put it in with e6 heads, mass air conv. and cai with full stock exhaust and 3.73 gears.it helped alot.now i've went through alot more mods and it really needs more cam.the b and e are good cams for stock or mild motors but if your planning on heads or anything else then i'd wait and go bigger like the f cam or tfi cam.

I got to agree with Mob....get the gears definietly ....but then do your suspension and brakes....those are some of the weakest points of the foxbody...check out my sign for some ideas...thats the route I went; now its time to pour on the power.....remember you can make all the power you want...but if you cant put it to the ground or stop it....:bang:

I just finally paired up my E303 cam up with a set of GT40's and a 99 Explorer intake and it pulls really really really hard from 3000 up to 5700. When the cam was working with the stock heads and intake it did nothing but have a cool idle
