I just joined Corral.net and boy I didn't realize how close that forum is to ours. Better actually in some things but StangNet allows a little more on others. I would say both balence out and they were created by the same person but the thing that sets them apart in the end is people that post there. Generally we here at StangNet are very enthusiastic to help others with general problems and quickly wanna get our two cents in on stuff we are very knowledgeable about. My first impression of StangNet was very high and although it takes you a while to fit into any place new I feel confident now that there is no problem, no project i can't untertake, and no thing i can't say here on StangNet, I will get the results I want or need in the end. That out the way my first impression of Corral.net sucked a$$. The very first thread i looked at people were arguing and bickering like little 3 year olds over he called me this and she called me that stuff. Anyone else post in Corral.net as well and want to get in on which they feel is better on helping with problems and quality of the members that post there overall? Here's a link to the thread I'm referring to. http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=545372
Thanks to all for your help in the past and may our Stangs have many more good years to come! Amen.

I think the corral has better technical discussion but every question I ask is answered here on stangnet, and the attitude isALOT better over here.

might get a biased answer.

anyays, i've been over there and their threads seem always to be heated. i guess if you're a confrontational person you might like it better but here it's more joking than annoyances.

There hasn't been anything i've had to leave stangnet for (aside from going to turbomustangs and learning everything about them)

i posted there like twice and got too much of an attitude. Just look what they posted about RC when we bought his new rebels "too much bling" but then he posted over here and we gave him props. Over here its a lot more relaxed.

I never really got into posting at Corral. There are a lot more people over there that have more technical know-how than here but I think the people here are a lot cooler. I think the age is a little younger here too which keeps things more relaxed.

5.0 Tech is an awsome tech source They dont like it when you post a comment post,or something not tech related, thats for 5.0talk,or this room.

Corral is more tech than anything. Stangnet is more IMO enjoyable to be a part of. I do like to use the corrals search engine it usually brings up what i'm looking for.

I visit both forums pretty much daily...This is my home though, I been in this forum since its inception..Anyone remember that???....
I just like SN better, the atmosheres more to my liking... Corral being more technical??? I also get my answers between here and the 5.0 tech forum...although Corral has a sweet classifieds section....Bought piles of stuff outta there..thats the reason I go there...
Over there they have their regulars just like us...whatever makes you more comfortable....
I like SN cause this is where I started out with my car....its come along ways from the stock mutt it was..I have the guys on here to thank for that, in return, I try to post up stuff that helps people out...we were all newbs at one time and I have asked those same questions myself..plus I got a chitload of pics...

I'm with those that say that the attitude over there can be harsh at times. It seems that whenever someone posts something that is not accurate, they immediately get raped by everyone with the right answer. StangNet is just a little more relaxed.

I say that Corral is better but that is only because of the tech and I've been there a lot longer. Haven't really read much here. That thread above on the corral was a thread that I started, another member that I have run into in the past that seems to always make smart remarks to any post decides to say a bunch of nonsense. So, I blasted him as I have in the past. It is true, there is always drama on the corral. If you say it is more laidback on SN then I will have to post here more. I'm not into debating over cars, I just like to talk about them and get help with my probs or help others based on my experiences.
