Well, a lot of people recommend the Kirban regular which costs around $60. If you can find one on ebay, there was somebody on there that used to sell Accel adjustable regulators (I think they still do) for $45. I've had one of those for a couple years now, haven't had any problems with it.

fuel injected 2.3's turbo and n/a use the same unit as the 5.0.

I have a kirban and a holley, both good.

kirban and a BBK here. No problems from either.
I like the kirban its boost sensative and fairly cheap.

If it's an '85 Turbo engine, you just need to pick up a regulator for an '87-93 5.0.

not being a prick and I'm not dead sure of this but....
I don't think the 85 2.3 had one and the 85 5.0 that was central port FI was probably different.
as 140 stated anything that fits 87-93 5.0 fits yours. I would say about any are good just make sure its boost sensative.

First thing, he did say it was a turbo...therefore I'm assuming it's a turbo '85 2.3L. Far as I know, n/a 2.3's in '85 had that crappy electronic feedback carb.

Also, I stated that the '87-93 stuff would fit, not 140, he just said 5.0's...I wanted to make sure he didn't buy one for a '95 or something.

(now I'm sounding like a prick )

They're all "boost sensitive" as long as the vacuum line is hooked up.

And yeah...the aeromotive is wayyy too much for me also.
