I'm getting ready to have 4.10's installed but I need an installation kit. I've been told to stay away from motive, but I can't find one from ford. Where can I get a good kit?

I had 109kmiles and my bearings and seals/spacers were perfect, i ended up not even using my Richmond installation kit.
Well, Stangman knows a guy that will install my gears for $120, but he wants me to bring an installation kit too.

No, I got the FRPP kit from americanmuscle and it didn't come with bearings. I'm just going to go to NAPA and get a new pinion bearing.

I used Ratech which i bought from a Ford Racing Dealer. Summit sells them too.

Motive FTW! I had a set of Ford Racing 4.10's. They were trash. After a few hours of in-and-out, and playing with shims we still couldn't a perfect pattern; the backlash never wanted to conform to spec. We installed them to specs, but they were noisy and clunky. I've used Motive Gear twice, a set of 3.90's and 4.10's, and they fit perfect. I've never seen a more beautiful teeth mesh, and the measurements were dead on. All three sets were installed by my uncle who does this sort stuff for a living in his shop. I may have gotten a bad set, but I avoid things from Ford. Like all major companies they use the lowest bidder for their parts.
I got the full installation kit from Motive. It had everything we needed for the install. I bought new outer wheel bearings and axle seals seperate. You might as well change those since the axles have to come out.
