Which harmonic balancer?

I ordered my PP balancer yesterday from Northern Auto Parts. I saw a page they had on eBay and asked them to match the buy it now price, which they did. I got the balancer itself for $58 and the spacer for $18. I'm pretty sure they would have the 28 oz. too, but their "normal" price is high. Search hard on eBay or Google for it, I didn't find mine right away. LRS had mine for $80 with the spacer but they were out of stock. They said they were coming in on February 1 so if your not in a hurry...

I just bought the PP SFI balancer. I chose it over the street damper because I figured a SFI approved piece would be better all around but I read at one store's website the optimum balance occurs between 6500 and 7500 RPM. PP does not say that anywhere on its instructions or box, just that its good to 10 grand. I don't plan to rev much higher than 6 grand (unless I miss a shift), so is the SFI damper ok for street use or will it cause problems in the lower RPMs??
