which headers to use. 1966 Coupe

I have a 1966 GT coupe with a 289 and 4 speed top loader. I'm looking for suggestions for which long tube header to use. I don't want to do any header dimpleing or bashing of the shock tower. I'm also am open to Try Y headers but still concerned about fitment.

i am going to use tri y headers myself, they usually fit quite well from everything i have seen.

I got a set of flowtech long tubes offa ebay for ~$100, perfect fit

I hear mixed reviews. Some say it interferes with the clutch linkage?

You didn’t have to dent the header to clear the shock tower?

I have a the full MAC exhaust with longtubes and 2 1/2 pipes. It fits perfect.

Not if you get the ones specific for the 64-66. Had another 302 header set and to ding them to get them to fit was an understatement lol
