as the title says... which headers will fit the afr 165's in a 95 GT auto? i was looking at the mac jet hot shorties. let me know what you guys run. thanks

It is my understanding that any header that would ordinarily fit the stock E7 heads will fit the AFR 165. I have some FRPP ceramic-coated shorties ready and waiting for my AFRs!
Yeah, what he said. I guess I should have worded it more along the lines of the exhaust ports being in the indentical position, not identical to the stock heads. I just put my AFR's on and the ports are much bigger!
You can improve upon what it is as you get it from the factory.
Look at the difference of the openings and then look at the distance between the bolt hole and outer edge of the port on the head and then it becomes all too clear.
Somebody told me that with 1 3/4 inch headers you did not have that prob but I felt that I would loose low end torque with the larger headers.
